This outfit would be a be a great opportunity to expound on the wonders of a simple black and white palette accented with few key accessories. I tried something new today by wearing a scarf, but the look still seemed so plain at picture time. It could've been the opportunity to showcase a great bag that makes the outfit, but since I only have one all-purpose bag, I grabbed this friendly reindeer instead.
Colored tights might have done the trick as well. Maybe next time!
These earrings are clear faceted drops that glow dark blue when viewed from a particular angle. I love this surprise.

The dress I got on sale this past Christmas, the earrings were from Old Navy last fall, and everything else is older. Except the watch, which was a Christmas gift.
Also, (full disclosure) it was very windy for the first picture-taking attempt, and I love that this dress is knit, but... optical illusion hips are awkward:
