Easy summer dresses.

Sunflowers!

Have I mentioned lately that it is ridiculously hot out?  Because it IS.  Anyway, while we were out and about today, we came across a glorious field of sunflowers.

Black tee: No Boundaries for Walmart.  Side note: The M juniors size tee from No Boundaries consistently fits me every summer, and I buy several to pull out anytime to go with jeans and shorts.  This one with the v neck is from last year, and this year's cut is a round neck.  They are always so flattering.

Meetings and goings and doings today.  I think a statement necklace adds a lot to this outfit.  Also, I secretly always feel like a classy & fancy dalmatian in this shirt.

The Gleeful Mixing of Prints

I'm wearing a vintage Vera Neumann scarf from Etsy.  If I could have a thousand scarves from anywhere, I'd choose Vera for the mod prints and the inspired color combinations.

I'm getting the feeling that when I actually do need glasses one of these days, I'm going to pretty much go wild.  How much fun are these with this outfit?

Key to a Crusty Pirate Heart

This dress is from Dressbarn, and the asymmetrical hem feels so interesting and flattering.  And pirate-y...  Add garnet studs and an interesting twist on the antique key pendant.  Yes to theme dressing.

Independence Day

We enjoyed the chance to break out our red, white and blue, and we saw some spectacular fireworks.  Happy Belated 4th!
