I bought this dress on final clearance from New York & Co. last winter, and now that fall has come around again, it's ready to shine!  I'm in love with the print.  The sleeves are weird, but...

We're Calling It Black

I recently finished a very long, intensive training program for my career, and since graduation I feel like I've been slowly expanding back into a more full version of myself.  Filling out my edges.

All this to say -- years ago I used to play the viola, and a couple of weeks ago I pulled it out for a rehearsal with my little church orchestra, leading to our performance this morning.  Everyone had to wear black, and I wore this!

Keeping It Cute

Beautiful Days

  Just one of those beautiful days.

High Noon

The Coach Tour dress is a Modcloth classic, and I was happy to find this one pre-owned so I could finally try it out.  It's kiiiind of short for work... but I told myself it was ok because I wore it with tights.  And the cut is professional.  And the neckline is high (but flattering - Inconceivable!!!)

 

Suffice to say, I purchased another one in purple.

Amber Waves of Flowers

This lovely skirt from New York & Co. has been surprisingly hard to style, but has fantabulous twirl. It's also a wrap skirt, relevant insomuch as a dramatic amount of leg may be revealed by the incautious wearer while attempting to sit down (at church.)

Biking!  Not competitively, not for exercise - purely for leisure.  It's one of my favorite things.

Elements

I wear a lab coat for work, and I suppose this outfit looks a little more balanced on top with my coat on.  I'm quite pleased with all the elements, though.
