Mod But Not Sleek

Today, strong in the confidence department, I wore this awesome red and pink knit top with a bow (from New York & Co), but the bow was saggy (being knit) and my hair was frizzy (being summer), so...

 ...I invented a new style, obviously.

Nothing New Under the Sun

Workhorse yellow roses top: this time mixing it up with black pants.

See it with gray pants, with brown pants, and with blue jeans.  It's so easy, it's so pretty, and it washes so beautifully.

Here's My Heart

This iteration of the hi-lo dress comes with tulle underneath... I don't know that it's all that flattering, honestly.  However...  Look for it again this winter with a fur collar and a fitted blazer, maybe.  And tall boots.

Sky Full of Stars

This blue top is such a gorgeous color, and these starfish earrings I got while we were at the beach are an exact match for it.  Sometimes matching just works.  Wore this with black pants and shoes, not visible in these selfie shots.

Shine On

Today was the second day at my new job, and we snapped this photo right after work.  I am still getting into the swing of things there, but luckily I've had all this practice putting together work outfits at this point!

I got this silky top from Kohls several years ago, and it is still one of my favorite work tops.

Changes

So, I've been out on vacation.  And I'm starting a new job.  And I have a new computer.  I've switched from a (very old) PC to a Mac.

Mac and I... are tolerating each other.  With frequent breaks and fervent internal cursing.

Additionally, I had been using a free Google program, Picasa, to edit pictures, but now it is apparently no longer a thing.  This photo is from before I went on vacation, edited in the free version of Polarr.
