It's tournament time!  This outfit is grown-up cute but still appropriate for the sidelines.

Like A Boss

Today we just, you know, climbed a mountain.  No big thing.  As pictured here, Girl Munchkin even climbed it while rocking a white dress with rainbow polka dots (from H&M).

This is my first excursion with these hiking boots, and I'm glad I got to break them in on a fairly short hike.  The whole last third of the ascent is scrambling over boulders.

Super-Dress vs. Post-Call

Easiest dress ever, with built-in padding ( no messing with a bra!)  Beautifully comfortable.  The skirt is above the knee, but it works for me since it's more of a full skirt.

To review: I have been wearing a lot of red lately.

In my head, this skirt (precious print; slightly awkward neckline) paired with this top (gorgeous color and texture; tends to ride up at the waist) was a match made in heaven: each piece countering the flaws of the other.

It's Growing On Me

The hi-lo trend has always made me a little bit uneasy (hello, the front and the back are not the same length), but I had the chance to purchase this enormously-patterned blue floral from New York & Company last week when it was on sale for $14.99.  So, here we are!

The fabric is nice and thick, I love the print, and I suppose it's not so bad after all...

Star Light, Star Bright

I hung some moravian stars from a tree in our front yard, if you'd like to see.

The first pic is at twilight, and the second is about half an hour later.  They contain LED lights and were super fun for the kids to put together (they are white plastic.)  From christmaslightsetc.

Sweet Sunday

Easy Sunday outfit.  Everything about this top is classy and girly - the knit, the bow, the sleeves, the color combination.  Next time I might pin the bow from the inside somehow so that it looks a little more structured.

Crazy-Makin' Days

A million things to do today, the weather is beautiful, and I'd rather be on my bicycle!  It has beautiful pink streamers now.  Maybe I'll get a pic later ;)

Piano Recital

 I always feel a little bit steampunk, a little bit princess in this dress.  Accessorized today with honeycomb earrings and a statement purple gem necklace fit for a queen.

One, Two, Trouble

The girl munchkin and I wore these breezy firefly dresses to a baby shower this morning, then changed shoes for a walk around the lake this afternoon.  We had a ton of fun matching.
