Little Red Sweater

My regular camera is on loan today, so here's a phone snap.  The little puffed sleeves on this top always feel cute, and the length is just right with these higher-waisted cords.

Graphic Reading

Here's a graphic novel version of The Wizard of Oz that I'm reading with my Favorite Boy Munchkin.  Graphic novels in general are a little harder for me to process than a regular novel, but this one is very well done, and the illustrations really are amazing.

Bells On

I have tried and tried to wear leopard print (I love prints!), but it just never looks right.  Even in a little scarf-sized dose.

Never, that is, until I found this little sweater top at Old Navy a couple of years ago.  The print is big and polka-dot-ish, and it finally fits my style.

Needs More Yellow

Pouferrific

This week I succumbed to the pouf.  I've been keeping an eye on the poufs in the accessories section and snapping them up on clearance (for use in future knitting projects - I'm a dreamer!)  But then... I saw this little fancy fox and had to have her for my own.

Eevee Earhart

Charizard the Great and Powerful, and Eevee the Evolutionarily Diverse, on Halloween.  The Charizard hat took me ages and ages, the wings gave me fits... and the end result is all worth it.
